Important Confirmation Info For the Summer
Greetings!
I hope you are having a wonderful summer so far! I have just a few bits of important information.
First of all, please make note of my new email address: stpeterconfirmation@gmail.com
Secondly, I am revamping the entire Confirmation website this summer. It promises to be bigger and better than ever! The url is http://stpeterconfirmation.com. But please remember... it is still under construction. I will let you know when the site is ready to "go live."
I have also established a Facebook page for those of you on Facebook. This page provides a wonderful tool for us to engage in a dynamic conversation about the Holy Spirit and Confirmation. Of course, I can also use it to disseminate important info as well. Thirdly, here are a few important dates that I am sure you will want to note in your calendars:
The Confirmation retreat is be held on Saturday, September 12. It is an all-day retreat. You will receive more information as the date nears.
The Confirmation Mass has been set for Monday, October 12 at 7PM. Archbishop Hughes will be the celebrant and conferring prelate.
Fourthly, there will be two assignments for the candidates to complete this summer. I will email full details soon. These assignments can be completed at the candidates leisure... at least until we resume classes in the Fall!
Which brings me to my last point. I will send out a calendar of our fall classes soon. We will resume in August (after school starts) and continue to meet until the week of Confirmation.
